Blueprint for Good Growth vs. Communities in Motion - A Comparison
The Blueprint for Good Growth is a land use and transportation plan for Ada County that overlaps with the COMPASS Long-Range Transportation Plan (Communities in Motion). The Blueprint will consider land use, environment, and a wide range of public facilities and services in Ada County. Communities in Motion will evaluate Ada County development patterns resulting from the Blueprint project, as well as development patterns in Canyon, Boise, Gem, Elmore, and Payette Counties in establishing a strategic plan to meet the region’s transportation needs. Clearly, these projects must be coordinated to ensure consistency between the resulting plans. The table below compares the similarities and differences of the two projects.
